To be honest, I am going 'cold turkey' just by not baking but after a trip back from Penang, I am trying very hard to control my diet after binging on all that glorious sinful food.
As a matter of fact, I am still reeling from that undeniable craving for delicious Char Koay Teow that I swear, I can almost taste it right now. I had not come across this helpless situation in the past decades before. To be kind to my body, I have been denying high cholesterol foods like seafood, red meat and eggs.
And since it has been almost a week of that, unequivocally, my body is now showing signs of unscrupulous desire for something sweet and sinful...
A simple trip sending my daughter for her piano lessons yesterday got me to grab these packs of Kit Kats because it stated that a two finger bar has only 107 (mint) and 106 (dark chocolate) calories each.

Put two and two together, it means I won't risk breaking my 2,000 calorie per day and I have the liberty to stuff my face till I am fully satisfied for my every meal? Heck!
I had a bar of the mint flavoured ones and thought that it tasted like Aero mint chocolate bars that I had in my youth. I have not had any Kit Kats for a while because the regular milk chocolate ones are too sweet for my liking. So when I saw Kit Kats in Mint and Dark Chocolate versions, the signals in my brain went wild with desire. God Help Me.
So, no posting about bakes and cakes today. Perhaps next week, so do drop by and watch what have I got myself into.
