Here is an update on my Fruit Enzyme. I received quite a few queries about how they looked like after a few days or a week. Today is the 13th Day of my Dragonfruit and Citrus Fruit Enzyme. Well, it is only about a week left before harvesting it. I will show you what happened on what happened on in the bottles of fruit enzyme I did two weeks ago.
First Day of Assembling The Fruits and Sugar
2 Days of Fruit Enzyme
Some liquid is formed right at the bottom of the bottom.
3 days of Fruit Enzyme
Liquid enzyme is more by the third day.
5 days of Fruit Enzyme
Bubbles forming during the fermentation process.
Tilt the bottle to make sure the fruits are well coated with sugar solution.
10 days of Fruit Enzyme
13 days of Fruit Enzyme (Today!!)
What is great about this is that there is no terrible smell at all. I had placed the bottles in my cupboard which is dark at the corner of the dining area. When I opened this cupboard, the smell is somewhat like a tangy medication smell. It actually smells quite nice. There is also no mould in the jars. Mould will occur if you bottles are not dry enough or the fruits are not air dried proper.
I cannot wait another week to try the enzyme out. I will show you more updates in a week's time.
