In a recent post, I posted the Arrowroot Chips, remember? Well, I bought more because over a weekend, my family have polished off the whole container while watching television. And they asked for more.
This morning, I swung by the local mart after dropping my eldest to school. My youngest had to stay home as she is having the sniffles since the haze two days ago. I saw some more Arrowroot bulbs and this time they were really nicer than the ones I bought on Saturday, which were dirty and blackish in colour. This ones looked as if they were being rinsed clean but I don't think they'd do that or it won't last.
Arrowroots are cheaper to buy raw. Slice them an deep fry in hot oil.
So for the benefit of those who wants to see how the whole and raw Arrowroot looks like, here is the picture I took, as well as in different stages, after it's been peeled, and when it's been sliced thinly.
